Give Gardner Minshew some damn respect! | #FlyEaglesFly

You might not like Gardner Minshew's personality, but there's no denying that he deserves more respect around the league. Ever since he was drafted, Minshew has been put under difficult circumstances both with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles and all he ever did was get his head down, work, and play.

Minshew was supposed to never see the field when he was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a sixth-round pick. He took over from Nick Foles out of nowhere and still led the team to a 6-6 record in the games he played, displaying a lot of intelligence and smart decisions with the ball, even if his arm strength was pitiful. In the worst of situations, Minshew did enough to at least give his team a fighting chance.

Later traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, Minshew led the team to a great victory over the New York Jets during the 2021 season where he even put a perfect 158.3 passer rating during the first half. Even though Nick Sirianni wasn't going to give him the opportunity to fight for the starting job with Jalen Hurts, he still told his coach that he was going to work his ass off to get the opportunity.

Minshew might be just a backup with the Eagles, but it's really difficult to not like the guy, especially one that gives everything he has to his team, even with his own limitations. You might not understand if he's not on your team, but Philadelphia surely is happy that he's on the roster.
