The Patriots running game will be more vital this season than ever before! | #ForeverNE

I may be wrong, but I don't remember the patriots having many elusive running backs on the team. The Patriots have six running backs, and five of them are elusive running backs. The likes of James White, Rhamondre Stevenson, Damien Harris and rookie Pierre Strong Jr. will play a vital role in achieving wins for the Patriots.

I believe in a group on the offensive side of the ball; the running backs are better than the receivers and offensive line. The receivers and the lineman's are inconsistent. The running backs have their problem, but that is a minor issue. Last season James White, Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris contributed heavily to the Patriots and helped them make it to the playoffs. Now you add two rookies into the mix; I think this core of running backs will bring many advantages for the Patriots. And they are all durable, meaning they can both run and catch a pass to cause disturbance for the opponent's defence.

For the running backs to succeed, the lineman must perform their duties to perfection. If not, it will bring tremendous pressure on the running backs and even quarterback Mac Jones. Nonetheless will their skillset and athleticism, I believe the running backs can handle the pressure. You have veteran James White who has been with the Patriots since 2014 and has done everything and knows the offence system very well. Last season’s breakout stars, Harris and Stevenson, showed what they could do in the field. And new two exciting running backs that the Patriots, Strong and Taylor, drafted. I can't wait for the pre-season to start and see who will win the number one spot; it will be an exciting back and one to look out for by the Patriots fans.
