The Buffalo Bills are getting healthier at just the right time.

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Friday that left tackle Dion Dawkins will be a full participant in practice after dealing with a back issue. Having their Pro Bowl blindside protector back in action is a significant lift for Buffalo’s offensive line as the preseason winds down.
There’s also encouraging news on the special teams front. Kicker Tyler Bass is making progress in his recovery from a pelvic injury, with the team aiming for him to suit up in the Aug. 23 preseason finale. Bass’s return would give the Bills a chance to work through live reps before the regular season kicks off.
With two key starters trending in the right direction, the Bills can start to envision a healthier roster for Week 1.
