The Cleveland Browns are managing quarterback injuries as they prepare for their second preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
QB Dillon Gabriel is dealing with a hamstring issue but will participate in 11-on-11 drills with his workload carefully managed, head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters. Meanwhile, Kenny Pickett, also nursing a hamstring injury, is progressing but not yet ready for full practice reps.

Stefanski also remains tight-lipped on naming a Week 1 starter, saying the decision will come after Saturday’s game.
On the roster front, Cleveland added depth in the secondary by signing cornerbacks Christian Holmes and Darius Rush.
Roster cuts included wide receiver Luke Floriea, who was waived/injured, and offensive tackle Roy Mbaeteka.
Stay tuned as the Browns finalize their roster and QB plans ahead of the regular season.
