The Washington Commanders have been active with roster adjustments and training camp news.
The team signed wide receiver River Cracraft and cornerback Daryl Worley to bolster depth on offense and defense. Meanwhile, wide receiver Mike Strachan was waived, clearing a roster spot.

Washington’s scheduled joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens for August 21 has been cancelled due to logistical concerns. In a statement, the Ravens said, "Recognizing the logistical challenges with our teams' previous games scheduled on different days and the added strain on players heading into a short week, the Ravens and Commanders mutually agreed to no longer hold a joint practice next week. Instead, we will concentrate on preparing for our upcoming preseason matchup."
The cancellation allows both teams to focus on preseason game prep while minimizing player fatigue and injury risk.
