The Miami Dolphins continued shaping their roster ahead of the regular season, parting ways with four players as they make their final evaluations.
Running back Aaron Shampklin was among those released, ending his stint with the team before the season begins. Wide receiver Tarik Black was also cut as the Dolphins continue to shuffle depth in the receiving corps.

Veteran cornerback Mike Hilton was released as well, a move that opens opportunities for younger defensive backs to step up. On special teams, punter Ryan Stonehouse was let go, leaving the Dolphins with a new path forward in the kicking game.
The Dolphins are working toward finalizing a balanced roster that can compete in what should be one of the toughest AFC seasons in recent memory.
