The Buffalo Bills saw some early injury concerns during their preseason opener against the New York Giants.
Linebacker Keonta Jenkins left the game in the second quarter after suffering a laceration on his hand, according to the broadcast.

Cornerback Taron Johnson exited in the first quarter but was later cleared to return following a concussion evaluation.
On the roster front, running back James Cook remained a storyline. Cook, who has not been practicing due to a contract dispute, was seen warming up in uniform before the game but ultimately did not take the field.
Head coach Sean McDermott revealed he had spoken with Cook and wanted him to play. Cook agreed to warm up but declined to participate in the game.
Cook’s situation remains one to watch as the preseason progresses and the Bills prepare for the regular season.
