Seahakws vs Giants Preview



Seattle Seahawks will enter their next game with a 2-1 record, having defeated the Carolina Panthers 37-27 in their last game. In that game, Geno Smith had a solid performance, finishing with 296 passing yards and one touchdown. D.K. Metcalf was his top target, averaging 18.7 yards per reception and accumulating 112 yards on six catches. On the ground, Kenneth Walker III led the team with 97 yards on 18 carries. The Seahawks' offense had a total of 425 yards on 71 plays, with 33 of those plays being rushing attempts for a total of 146 yards.



The Seattle Seahawks have been averaging 29.0 points per game, with four touchdowns coming through the air and four on the ground. They have earned 998 total yards this season and have tallied 39 first downs. However, their defense has been struggling, allowing an average of 29.3 points per game and ranking 29th in the NFL. They have given up 984 passing yards and 238 rushing yards through three contests.



The New York Giants, on the other hand, are coming off a 30-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, leaving them with a 1-2 record for the season. They have earned 496 passing yards and 264 rushing yards so far this season. Their defense has conceded 32.7 points per game and has allowed three touchdowns through the air and six on the ground.



Overall, the Seahawks will be looking to capitalize on their strong offense and improve their defense, while the Giants will need to find ways to improve their offense and tighten up their defense. It should be an interesting matchup, but the Seahawks will enter as favorites with their record and solid offensive production.
