"After 23 years of playing football, I’m officially retiring from the NFL," Hicks wrote. "Football has given me more than I could have ever imagined. Purpose, discipline, brotherhood, and a platform to impact others. But most importantly it showed me who I am outside the game."

Hicks leaves the game with a legacy built on toughness, leadership, and consistency. A former third-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, Hicks spent time with the Eagles, Cardinals, and Vikings across his 10-year career. He played a key role on and off the field wherever he went, known not just for his production, but for his professionalism and poise.

In his farewell message, Hicks reflected on the journey and expressed gratitude for every chapter of his career.

"I leave this chapter with deep gratitude for every lesson, challenge, and victory. I’m proud of what I accomplished on the field, but even more proud of the man I’ve become because of it. To my teammates, coaches, fans, and most importantly my family… thank you for your unwavering support throughout this journey."

Hicks finishes his career with over 850 tackles, 13.5 sacks, and 13 interceptions. More than the stats, though, he earned the respect of locker rooms across the league for his leadership and resilience.

"I’m looking forward to this next season of life and all that it brings. I walk away with peace knowing I gave football all I had, and that the best is yet to come."

As Jordan Hicks steps away from the gridiron, he does so with a full heart and a lasting impact on the game and those who played it alongside him.
