WR DeAndre Hopkins tweets that he 'doesn't want a raise'

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins took to Twitter on Sunday to address the trade rumors surrounding him, stating that any issues he may have are not related to his contract.

Hopkins, a three-time All-Pro receiver, signed an extension in September 2020 and is set to make $19.45 million in 2023 and $14.915 million in 2024. Despite not being present at the team's offseason strength and conditioning program, Hopkins has been in communication with Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon.

In his first season with the Cardinals, Hopkins had a successful campaign with 1,407 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 16 games, but has dealt with injuries and a suspension related to a violation of the league's performance-enhancing substances policy since then.
