Denver Broncos Training Camp Update: Bonitto on Track, Dobbins to See Preseason Action

For the Denver Broncos, this preseason is all about proving last year’s playoff run under Sean Payton was no fluke. The team looks like it is staying on track, and the latest updates out of camp give fans even more reason to feel confident.

Linebacker Nik Bonitto, who had been dealing with a foot issue, is “doing fine” according to Payton and is expected to return to practice on Wednesday. Bonitto’s presence in the pass rush is key to keeping Denver’s defense among the league’s most disruptive.

On the offensive side, running back J.K. Dobbins is set to get some preseason touches. It is a positive sign for a player who has battled injuries in recent years and could be a difference-maker in the Broncos backfield if he stays healthy.

Payton’s message is clear. This team is healthy, focused, and preparing to hit the ground running in Week 1. If Denver builds on what it started last season, they could be in for another postseason push.
