Dolphins GM Making Decisions - Cedrick Wilson's Future Uncertain!

Last offseason, the Miami Dolphins signed Cedrick Wilson as their No. 2 wide receiver, but things didn't go as planned. After trading for Tyreek Hill and Trent Sherfield eventually leapfrogging him, Wilson's production was lackluster with only 12 catches for 136 yards in 15 games. The team added Braxton Berrios and Chosen Anderson this offseason, which has made Wilson a prime trade candidate, despite not actively shopping him.

General manager Chris Grier has received inquiries from other teams about Wilson's availability. The team's recent additions to the wide receiver group suggest that they may be looking to move on from Wilson at some point this offseason. However, Wilson's $5 million guaranteed of his $7 million base salary makes it unlikely that a team will offer much in return, especially if the Dolphins aren't willing to eat a large chunk of his contract.

Wilson showed some promise in his time with the Cowboys, but his production last year makes it challenging for a team to take on his contract. With the draft approaching, Wilson could be a fallback option for teams still in need of a wide receiver following a shallow draft at the position.
