Drake London Poised for Career-Best Season

The Atlanta Falcons are looking for another big year from their star wide receiver Drake London, who is coming off a career season in 2024. The fourth-year standout hit 1,271 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 100 catches, all career highs, and eclipsed the 1,000-yard milestone for the first time.

Much of London’s success last year coincided with improved quarterback play, giving him the chance to showcase his 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame and speed against NFL defenses. He has the physical tools to dominate in any coverage scheme and is entering 2025 as the Falcons’ clear offensive focal point.

Even more encouraging for Atlanta fans is the chemistry London developed with Michael Penix Jr. late last season. In Penix’s two starts under center, London produced 100-plus yards in each game (106 and 187) on 17 combined catches with two touchdowns.

The big question heading into 2025: Were those numbers inflated by shootouts against weaker defenses, or are they a sign of what London can do with Penix as the full-time starter? Either way, all signs point to another potentially massive season for the Falcons’ top weapon.
