The Atlanta Falcons are adding experience to their secondary as cornerback C.J. Henderson plans to sign with the team, pending a medical review, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Henderson, a former top-10 pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, spent the 2024 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers but did not log a single snap. He last played in 2023 with the Carolina Panthers, recording 39 tackles and a sack in 12 games, including seven starts.
Adding Henderson gives the Falcons a veteran presence in the secondary while bolstering depth at a position that has faced injuries and rotations in recent seasons.
