Training camp is supposed to be about building momentum for the season, but for the Green Bay Packers, it is starting to feel more like a juggling act. The team is dealing with key injuries, making roster moves, and trying to keep the focus on Week 1.
Quarterback Jordan Love is set to undergo a procedure on his left thumb, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. The good news is that the team does not expect him to miss any regular-season action. Love’s availability will be key as Green Bay looks to build on his strong finish last year.

Wide receiver Christian Watson, dealing with a knee injury, is likely to start the season on the physically unable to perform list. Gutekunst noted that Watson is ahead of schedule in his recovery, which offers some optimism for his return. Meanwhile, fellow receiver Romeo Doubs exited practice with what appeared to be an injury, though further details have not yet been confirmed.

In roster news, the Packers signed running back Ty Davis-Price, adding depth to the backfield. On the other side of the ledger, the team released running back Jalen White and waived/injured cornerback Isaiah Dunn.
Green Bay will be looking to get healthy and solidify its roster in the coming weeks as the regular season draws closer.
