Jaguars Cornerback In Trouble: Chris Claybrooks Arrested!

According to court records in Davidson County (Tennessee), Chris Claybrooks, a cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was arrested on April 15 in Nashville, Tennessee on charges of domestic assault with bodily injury and vandalism, both misdemeanors.

The incident occurred on April 14. Claybrooks, a Nashville native who is 25 years old, was released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 1. The Jaguars have issued a statement acknowledging the incident and stating that they are currently gathering information.

Claybrooks was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft from Memphis and has played in every game for Jacksonville last year. He has started six games and has a career total of 81 combined tackles and five passes defensed. Claybrooks is in the final year of his rookie contract.
