Lions Dealing With Key Injuries in Joint Practices

The Detroit Lions hit a few bumps in joint practices this week, as head coach Dan Campbell confirmed some players will be limited.
Defensive end Ahmed Hassanein will sit out practice on Wednesday, leaving the Lions’ defensive line short-handed during key work against their opponents.

Cornerback Terrion Arnold (hamstring) will also miss joint practices this week, though the team is hopeful he can return next week. Managing hamstring injuries carefully is critical, especially for a secondary that needs speed and agility to compete in the NFC.
These absences give other players an opportunity to step up in practice, but Detroit will want to ensure everyone is healthy heading into the regular season.
