Vikings are eyeing a potential star Quarterback

The Minnesota Vikings are eyeing a potential star quarterback in rookie Jaren Hall. In their final preseason game against the Cardinals, Hall was given the opportunity to quarterback every offensive snap, allowing the team to get an extended look at his abilities.

Despite a few mistakes, Hall impressed with his athletic ability, poise, and efficient operation. He completed 16-of-27 passes for 178 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception, while also adding 21 rushing yards via six carries.

One of his best throws came with under a minute remaining in the first half, when Hall climbed the pocket and fired an off-platform dart to Blake Proehl for 21 yards, pushing Minnesota into field goal range.

However, Hall also threw an interception early in the fourth quarter, which set up the Cardinals game-winning field goal. He also made a costly mistake when he bailed toward the left sideline on fourth-and-3, throwing a 43-yard pass to Ben Sims, who made the leaping grab. Unfortunately, Hall was a yard beyond the line of scrimmage, negating the highlight-reel play and essentially ending the game.

Despite the ups and downs, Head Coach Kevin O'Connell is encouraged by Hall's consistent development and sees him as a promising young quarterback worth developing. O'Connell would love to keep Hall around, and the team will have to decide whether to include him in the final 53-man roster.

Overall, Hall's performance in the preseason game showcased his potential and left Vikings fans excited about what he could bring to the team in the future.
